Hyundai 2005 Sales Up 19% for Record February
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., March 1 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced February sales of 33,940 vehicles, a new record for the month. The results represent a 19% increase over February 2004. The Sonata, winner of the J.D. Power award for Initial Quality in the entry level mid-size segment, led the sales increase with a February all-time sales record of 9,762.
"The all-new Tucson also continues to gain momentum," noted Hyundai's Vice President of National Sales, Ed Bradley. "The vehicle's class-leading safety features and value positioning continue to resonate with consumers."

Hyundai buyers are protected by a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 5-year/100,000-mile anti-perforation warranty and 5-year/unlimited-mile roadside assistance protection.
