Bellflower Boulevard Car Show Blends Best of Old and New Saturday, June 4th from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m.

BELLFLOWER, Calif.--May 2, 20056, 2005--Nearly 400 muscle cars, custom rods and antique rides will rumble into Bellflower on Saturday, June 4, for the annual Bellflower Boulevard Car Show. A crowd of more than 5,000 is expected for the event in the heart of historic downtown. The one-of-a-kind autos will be displayed from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Admission and parking are free. Trophies will be awarded for outstanding vehicles in 12 categories as judged by the Sultans Car Club. Bellflower's City Council will judge "Best of Show," and the City's Parks and Recreation Commission will select the "Special Choice Award."

The car show also features DJs and live music, food, vendor booths, games for kids, and an after-show dance featuring Ronny and the Classics in the Town Center Plaza beginning at 9:00 p.m. Alcohol is not permitted. Bellflower Boulevard closed to through traffic.
