First All Electric GAZTEC Ferry Launched

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla.--June 24, 2005--Solomon Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:SOLM) announced today the June 3 launch of a Solomon powered passenger ferry built by GAZTEC L.L.C. headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). In addition to boat building GAZTEC is involved in marine consultancy, marine equipment procurement, product manufacturing and project management throughout the Middle East and Africa with offices worldwide.

Peter DeVecchis, President of Solomon commented, "This installation is yet another example of the use of the Solomon propulsion system in commercial marine applications. With the UAE being the hub of the Middle East's growing marine industry, GAZTEC's incorporation of the Solomon propulsion system enhances its capabilities in the region significantly."

Early next month Solomon will send an engineer onsite to certify the installation and prepare for the building of the remainder of 150 vessels that GAZTEC expects to produce.
