American Chariots Provide Big Assist at the World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems

American Chariot Co. Donates Five Chariots for Transportation Needs Between SBC Park and the Moscone Center During 12th World Congress on ITS in San Francisco Nov. 6, 2005-10

SAN FRANCISCO, ITS WORLD CONGRESS, Nov. 8 -- American Chariot Company announced today that five of its personal transportation Chariots are in use this week for the World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems being held Nov. 6-10 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. The Chariots are being used by World Congress organizers to provide transportation support between events at the Moscone Center and SBC Park. Staff organizers used the Chariots for show setup last week and will use them for show management needs throughout the show this week. The Chariot is a zero-emission, all-electric, three-wheeled personal transportation vehicle.

"We used the Chariot throughout last week for show setup, and so far this week for show management needs and we've been totally impressed. Instead of needing to rent a fleet of cars, we use the Chariots which have been more nimble and can negotiate the parking lots and streets with ease," said Edgar Martinez, director, business development, Intelligent Transport Systems America. "With the Chariots, we're saving on fuel costs and I can't get the show management staff off the Chariots at the end of the day. I would really like to have them for the next show."

"American Chariot is very pleased to be a part of the ITS World Congress because we know our vehicle is part of the intelligent transportation that the Congress is promoting this week," said David Joseph Lacagnina, president and CEO of American Chariot. "The Chariot is something our customers and conference organizers have loved riding because they're quick, allow you to see where you're going, and they are 100% clean for the environment with zero emissions."

The American Chariot personal transportation vehicle provides greater flexibility, carrying capacity and reliability than other personal transportation vehicles on the market. Other key facets to the Chariot include:

-- Providing Superior Visibility in a Crowd -- Elevates riders to a vantage point above a crowd, making it easier to see and been seen, ensuring rider safety among other vehicles.

-- Outstanding Maneuverability At Any Speed -- The American Chariot is intrinsically stable and highly maneuverable even at low speeds, can pass through a standard-sized doorway, operates indoors or out and can turn in its own radius. A dual-speed switch allows the rider to select between high and low speeds, as required.

-- No Fatigue -- Riders simply step on, drive to the scene and step off, without the fatigue from pedaling or running.

-- Improved Response Times -- The Chariot gets to top speed in seconds, and has a variable top speed of up to 20 miles per hour, even carrying its full 450-pound capacity, thereby deliver riders to their destination quickly.

-- Ability to Go Where Larger Vehicles Can't -- The Chariot's size means it can go where a car, golf cart or ambulance can't go. This can be especially valuable in certain situatins where responding quickly through limited access is an important advantage.

-- Increased Productivity -- The American Chariot is easy to use, making it an outstanding way to make anyone instantly mobile, regardless of age, size or mobility limitations.

-- Zero Down Time -- The American Chariot uses quick-change batteries and off-board charging, so there is no downtime. Simply replace the batteries with a fresh pair and keep on riding!

-- Reduced Operational Costs -- The Chariot is powered by a reliable high- efficiency electric motor, and features tried-and-true technology to reduce mechanical problems and keep the vehicle in operation full-time.

"The chariot has been around since 2,500 B.C., so it's a proven commodity, even in today's high tech world. People still have to get from point A to point B and we make sure that happens safely and quickly," said Joseph.
