The New 2006 SEAT Ibiza Goes on Tour with La Oreja de Van Gogh

Barcelona - April 3, 2006: The New SEAT Ibiza, which was recently launched on the Spanish market, will be the ambassador of the popular group La Oreja de Van Gogh during their 2006 concert tour to promote their new album "Guapa".

On March 17th, SEAT executives and representatives of the sales network handed over several SEAT vehicles to the group members in San Sebastián, including the new Altea and Ibiza FR models.

According to the sponsorship agreement, the cars will be driven by the group on their Spanish tour starting this summer, which will be highlighted by the new SEAT Ibiza.

After ten years together, La Oreja de Van Gogh is about to launch their fourth studio album "Guapa".

In the words of group members Amaya, Pablo, Xavi, Álvaro and Haritz, "Guapa tells a story of perseverance in the wonderful journey of self-discovery". The theme fits in nicely with SEAT's process of transformation in recent years, called the New SEAT, which has yielded the recently launched Altea, Toledo and León, and the new Ibiza and Córdoba models, which all feature innovative design and sporty character.

With five million records sold worldwide, 25 Platinum albums in Spain and 26 in America, La Oreja de Van Gogh is preparing to join SEAT on their nationwide tour to promote their latest creation "Guapa", a special album to celebrate their anniversary.
