Toyota Will Also Provide Assistance for Job Training and High School Initiatives

HENDERSON, Nev., April 13 -- Nevada Partners today accepted the donation of a new Toyota Sienna Rampvan from Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. (TMS). Nevada Partners will work with local faith-based organizations to make the wheelchair-accessible minivan available to Clark County seniors in need of transportation assistance. Toyota Financial Services (TFS) and Toyota Financial Savings Bank (TFSB), which is located in Henderson, will make additional donations to support job training and high school initiatives.

Steven Horsford, president and chief executive officer of Nevada Partners, Inc., accepted the donations from Ray Specht, president and chief executive officer of TFSB.

"Last August, Sen. Harry Reid convened a group of community organizations to identify our most pressing needs and transportation for seniors was highlighted," said Horsford. "Now, thanks to Sen. Reid and Toyota, that talk has turned into action. We are pleased to have Toyota as our newest community partner in this project to 'Give Seniors a Lift.'"

"TFSB is fully committed to helping its local community by reaching out to organizations such as Nevada Partners," said Specht. "We are excited to build a relationship with Nevada Partners and help them do more of what they do best."

"Last summer, when I hosted the faith-based services summit here at Nevada Partners," said Sen. Harry Reid, "one of the most important issues we discussed was the need for transportation options for senior citizens. I am pleased that Toyota and Nevada Partners are helping address this need. I especially salute Toyota for donating a van that religious organizations throughout Clark County will be able to use."
