LA Auto Club Re-Appoints Four to Board of Directors

LOS ANGELES--May 31, 2006--The Automobile Club of Southern California today announced the re-appointment of Jack Brown, Susan Corrales-Diaz, Antonia Hernandez and Ray Martin to its board of directors.

"We are fortunate to have these visionary business leaders continue as part of our board to guide the organization in its mission of providing world-class service to its members," said Thomas V. McKernan, president and chief executive officer of the Auto Club.

Brown is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Stater Bros. Markets in Colton. His professional affiliations include the Food Marketing Institute of America and his civic accomplishments include being a founder of the Children's Fund of San Bernardino County.

Corrales-Diaz is president and chief executive officer of Systems Integrated in Orange. Corrales-Diaz also serves on the boards of the California Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Exporter's Association. She is also a Presidential appointee to the President's Export Council and serves on the District Export Council of the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Hernandez is president and chief executive officer of the California Community Foundation. She also serves as director of Golden West Financial Corp. and Ready Pac. Hernandez also is an attorney whose civic affiliations include the Rockefeller Foundation and the Commission on Presidential Debates.

Martin is the retired chairman and chief executive officer of Coast Federal Bank. His past civic affiliations include serving in leadership capacities for the Boy Scouts of America, Sheriff's Youth Foundation and the L.A. Chamber of Commerce. Martin also served in numerous professional organizations, including as chair of the Western League of Savings & Loans.

During their three-year terms, the four will help guide the Auto Club in developing business and public affairs strategies that best serve the needs of its more than 6 million members in Southern California.
