Tornado Stands by Its Product That Helps Ease High Gas Prices

SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif., May 31, 2006 -- With everyone in the U.S. talking about high fuel prices, several media outlets have touted the assertions of recent articles disputing the fuel saving claims of Tornado Air Management Systems.

Jay Kim, president of Tornado Air Management Systems, says the company disagrees with the conclusions reached by Consumer Reports and Popular Mechanics in their articles. "Since their reports provide little data on how they tested our product and whether it was installed correctly, there is no way to know whether they tested our product in an accurate manner," said Kim. "We have had our product tested at independent testing facilities licensed by the California Air Resource Board. These tests found average improvements in fuel economy of 1 to 2 mpg. In addition, we have our own 'consumer reports' from vehicle owners who have purchased our product. The overwhelming majority of consumers, in unsolicited feedback to Tornado Air Management Systems, report that our product delivers on its promise of fuel savings."

He concludes, "We stand by our product and the claims we make, and that's why we offer consumers a 30-day money back guarantee."

Automotive technology professor Ron Bell of Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California, who has successfully tested Tornado, wrote a letter to Consumer Reports disputing their article. As an expert in automotive testing methods, he also asked for more information on how they conducted their tests. His letter was never responded to.

In addition to Professor Bell, nationally recognized automotive experts Sam Memmolo of Two Guys Garage TV, Roger Kwapich of the C.A.R. radio program, and Bobby Likis of Bobby Likis Car Clinic on radio and television, have all tested Tornado and found it to be faithful to its claims of improving fuel economy.

Tornado is a non-moving, turbine shaped device, which creates a vortex or swirling effect to the engine. The result is improved airflow into the engine's combustion chamber, causing a more efficient mixture between air and fuel. The product takes only a few minutes to install and lasts the lifetime of a vehicle. Tornado comes with a limited lifetime warranty, and can pay for itself in about 6 months. It retails for a M.S.R.P. of $69.95.

Tornado is available at participating auto part stores, including NAPA, AutoZone, Pep Boys, Checker, Schuck's and Kragen, Murray's, as well as online at J.C. Whitney, Driver F/X, Stylin' Concepts, and JEG's. For more information about Tornado, visit http://www.tornadoair.com/ or phone 800-500-8880.
