Boston College Students Embark on National Road Trip for
Charity Challenge
Boston Residents Invited to Attend Kick-off Event
What: What do a future HBO writer, a former beauty queen from the "O.C."
and a Lacrosse player have in common? They're all Boston College
(BC) students who will be representing Boston and competing against
student teams from Northwestern University and Texas Christian
University in the Dodge High Caliber Challenge.
On Monday, June 5, Boston residents are invited to "Wake Up" with
the three students from BC as they kick-off their five-day charity
road trip challenge in the all-new 2007 Dodge Caliber from their
collegiate town of Boston. Dodge will give away 500 free music
downloads from Global Music Project to raise $10,000 for Doctors
Without Borders.
In addition to the downloads, students will be giving away fun
prizes to help Bostonians "wake-up-and-take-on-the-day."
The event will entail:
-- Music Downloads - Beginning in Boston, the BC team will visit an
additional three cities on their way to Miami where they will
give away 500 free music downloads from
http://www.globalmusicproject.org/ at each local event
-- A Donation - For each song downloaded in Boston, Dodge will
donate $1 to Doctors Without Borders on the team's behalf
-- School Spirit - Everyone who attends can show their support for
the BC team by decorating their Dodge Caliber with good luck
notes and well wishes

The Students
-- Woody Tondorf, 22, from Hingham, Mass., graduated from BC in May
and is moving out to Los Angeles to write and produce for HBO
this fall
-- Stefanie Sitzer, 19, a former Orange County, Calif., beauty
queen, studies communications and Spanish, and performs on the
BC Synergy Dance team
-- Jennifer Cowperthwait, 21, from Berwyn, Pa., spends her time on
the Lacrosse field when she's not in class studying

Why: The Dodge High Caliber Challenge combines Generation Y's passion
for volunteering with their love of music, technology and
philanthropy in a five-day charity road trip designed to generate
awareness for Global Music Project and raise funds for Doctors
Without Borders. Students will drive the new Dodge Caliber, which
is chock full of interior road trip-friendly features like the
MusicGate Power(TM) liftgate speakers, Chill Zone cooled beverage
storage bin and unique flip pocket for storing a cell phone or an
MP3 player. In addition, the student teams can put their skills to
the test in the real world on an all-expense paid road trip with
the chance to win a 24-month lease on a Dodge Caliber.
