Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum News Release - Museum offers ninth annual "Dry, Sweet and Classic" wine tasting

AUBURN July 3, 2006;- The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum's ninth annual wine tasting,
"Dry, Sweet and Classic" will offer many fine wines, festive foods and live
jazz music in its beautiful art deco setting on Friday, Sept. 1.

This year's event will include a selection of fine wines thanks to Gay's
Hops-N-Schnapps, the exclusive wine sponsor for this year's event. Brad Gay,
president of Gay's Hops-N-Schnapps, is looking forward to making the public
aware of what is now available in Auburn, "The finer wines added to this
year's event are not so much based on price, but quality. Gay's prides
itself on finding $8-$16 bottles of wine that taste like a $50 bottle of
wine." Gay's Hops-N-Schnapps is new to the Auburn area and carries over 300
types of fine wines. "The Dry, Sweet and Classic" wine tasting is a perfect
opportunity to bring wine awareness to the area," said Gay. Wines ordered at
the wine tasting may be picked up at one of Gay's five locations.

"Dry, Sweet and Classic" allows both connoisseurs and novices of wine
tasting to savor diverse fine wines in the elegant environment of the 1930
art deco company showroom of the former Auburn Automobile Company. Tickets
are $30 per person; dress is casual and guests must be 21 or older to
attend. Tickets may be purchased by calling (260) 925-1444, or at the
museum's admission desk, 1600 S. Wayne St.

Pianists Dave Latchaw and Reggie Berg will play jazz music during the event
and food will be provided by Ceruti's Catering, Costa's Catering, Goeglein's
Catering, Las Limas Mexican Restaurant and Sechler's Fine Pickles.

Wine tasting sponsors include: Brown and Brown Insurance Agency Inc.; DeKalb
Financial Credit Union; Froggy 106.7 FM; Gay's Hops-N-Schnapps; National
City; OmniSource; Paragon Steel; Dr. Gary Scheumann, D.D.S., P.C.; and
Valenti Classics.

The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum exhibits 120 classic, antique, vintage and
special interest cars in the restored 1930 art deco national headquarters of
the former Auburn Automobile Company. The museum, accredited by the American
Association of Museums in 1997, is designated as a National Historic
Landmark. It is open to visitors daily from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
