Honda Tops Industry in Retained Value

Washington DC October 6, 2006; The AIADA newsletter reported that three year old Hondas were worth 68.7 percent of their original transaction price in August, making the automaker the top retained value holder in the industry, according to PIN Insights, a monthly newsletter published by the Power Information Network, a division of J.D. Power and Associates. Toyota, Subaru, Volkswagen, and Porsche rounded out the five highest scores.

Eleven international nameplate brands scored above the industry average of 57.4 percent.
