Ford to Unveil Three Exciting New Pace Vehicles for 2006 Ford Championship Weekend

- All New Shelby GT500, Ford Edge and F-150 FX2 to Lead the Field at Homestead-Miami Speedway

- Ford NASCAR Stars to Assist in Unveiling on Tuesday, Oct. 17

WHAT:

Ford and Homestead Miami Speedway will host the official unveiling of the 2006 Ford Championship Weekend pace vehicles.

This year's fleet includes a 2007 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500, a 2007 Ford Edge and a 2007 Ford F-150 FX2 which will pace the field during the Ford 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, the Ford 300 NASCAR Busch Series race and the Ford 400 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race in Homestead, Fla. as part of NASCAR's season-ending Ford Championship Weekend on November 17-19.

Curtis Gray, president, Homestead-Miami Speedway, and Dan Davis, director, Ford Racing Technology, will be on hand for the announcement, as well as Ford NASCAR stars on hand for open testing at the track.
