Mitsubishi's New Pajero Sales Top 2,200 per Month

TOKYO- November 8, 2006: Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announced yesterday that its Pajero sales have topped 2,200, which was three times more than the forecasted 700, from October 4 to November 3.

According to the survey, the long body Pajero accounted for 84%, and short body for 16 % in the sales order. EXCEED was most popular grade wise with 38 % followed by SUPER EXCEED for 27% and EXCEED-X for 11 % respectively. Color wise, the tope color, the 3way 2tone accounted for 36% followed by cool silver for 24% and warm white for 18% respectively.

The long body Pajero was chosen by various age group from thirties to sixties while couples in their fifties tended to accept the short body Pajero.

All groups enjoyed the Pajero's exterior and interior design, the newly developed V6 3.8L engine and high-quality sound system.
