Washington DC November 17, 2006; The AIADA newsletter reported that Lincoln coming off another sluggish sales month, on Monday will begin selling its luxury Lincoln brand through the online retailer, Amazon.com, according to The Detroit News.

The MKZ sedan, MKX crossover, and new Navigator will each have their own product pages on the website where prospective customers can initiate a purchase with just a single click.

Upon clicking, customers can then select options, price their vehicle, and connect with a "Lincoln personal assistant" who will act as their go-between with the traditional dealer to complete the transaction.

The actual sale will take place at the closest Lincoln dealership based on the zip code entered into the computer by the customer.
