Rhino Off-Road RTV Expands Capabilities and Range for Search and Rescue Providers

TORRANCE, CA - November 27, 2006: Rhino Outdoor International, Inc., a development company that consolidates and operates outdoor activity based businesses and its wholly owned subsidiary Rhino Off-Road Industries, Inc., the manufacturer of the Rhino Off-Road RTV® are pleased to announce that the RTV has been selected by Arizona Emergency Products, Inc. (AEP), the largest vehicle outfitter in the western US, for development of a specialized, off-road vehicle designed to meet needs of search and rescue organizations.

AEP specializes in emergency vehicle outfitting and will accessorize the vehicles with lighting systems, radios, back-up batteries and other equipment critical for search and rescue operations. The S/R RTV® will capitalize on the go anywhere capabilities, rugged design and production engineering of the RTV that are intrinsic in its success in the off-road sports category. The RTV has proven its off-road capabilities through rock-crawling competitions and other off-road sporting events. It has been engineered to be dependable and safe with standardized components and proven safety features.

There are very few vehicles on the market today that can go where the Rhino Off-Road RTV can go and carry the equipment utilized in todays high-tech search and rescue environment, stated Mike Chamberlain, owner of AEP. In most cases, agencies are employing ATVs, which are not big enough to carry the necessary equipment for many search and rescue operations. We will outfit the RTV with search lights, backboards, sirens, radios, infra-red signature systems, GPS systems and other electronic components. The innovative vehicle can carry the weight, and personnel, that smaller vehicles, and ATVs cant handle. The RTV can be used as a hotshot vehicle for fire departments, an extraction vehicle for back-country rescues and for fast-deployment in emergency response situations.

AEP brings a level of expertise and established working relationships with the Search and Rescue industry that is invaluable, stated Pat Stimpson, marketing consultant to ROI. They will field test the RTV and outfit it with accessories to meet the specific needs of each emergency response organization. Delivery of the first unit to AEPs outfitting facility in Phoenix, Arizona is scheduled for early December. For more information on AEP, visit www.ArizonaEmergencyProducts.com.
