Blue Sun Biodiesel Announces New CFO Susan Engquist

WESTMINSTER, Colo., Feb. 22, 2007 -- Blue Sun Biodiesel LLC today announced that Susan D. Engquist has been named vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Engquist served as CEO and President of Interactive Solutions LLC, provider of turnkey outsourced CFO solutions to mid-size distribution, manufacturing and technology companies in the energy and other sectors. Prior to founding Interactive Solutions, Ms. Engquist served as CFO for Denver-based Pioneer Steel, a steel distribution and light manufacturing company. Ms. Engquist was instrumental in executing the sale of Pioneer Steel to Toronto-based Russel Metals.

Susan has successfully established lines of credit, managed all aspects of financial reporting and controls, and has deep knowledge of manufacturing system and cost accounting implementation as well as inventory control/MRP management. Ms. Engquist has served as Blue Sun's outsourced controller since March 2006.
