Audi Executive Vice President, Johan de Nysschen to Speak at MPG May 1

LOS ANGELES, April 25 -- On Tuesday, May 1, 2007, The Motor Press Guild (MPG), America's largest professional automotive media association, will feature Johan de Nysschen, executive vice president of Audi America. With more than 4,500 technology patents, including many available today across its 10-vehicle line, Audi is committed to developing additional technologies differentiating the brand from other luxury vehicles. De Nysschen will discuss the company's philosophy on new automotive technologies, how technology will change and shape the luxury vehicle market and how three of Audi's latest smart technologies will change the relationship between cars and their drivers.

de Nysschen assumed the role of executive vice president of Audi America in 2004 and is responsible for all aspects of the Audi business in the United States. Joining Audi of America after many successful international assignments for the Audi brand, de Nysschen most recently served as the President of Audi Japan. During that assignment, he oversaw significant development of the Audi business, establishing an exclusive Audi dealer network and reconfiguring the product line-up. Audi sales in Japan more than doubled during this period.

Prior to joining Audi Japan in 1999, de Nysschen held various management positions in the automotive industry for a total of over 15 years of automotive experience.
