But First Snide's Remarks : Apparently Edmund’s editors and readers differ greatly in what they think is important and desirable in a new car or truck.

Edmund’s Readers agreed on only 8 out of 32 of Most Wanted Vehicles with the Editors…to make this point, next to each Reader’s Choice I have added in (parentheses) the Edmunds Editor’s Choice for those categories.

While The Auto Channel’s car savvy audience may agree with a few of Edmunds’ readers choices I believe that many have too few outstanding specs or performance data to reward them as a “Most Wanted”.

So to let you be the judge use the New Car Buyers Guide "Rank by Specs" tool to give you easy access to the data of all of the cars within each category...so you can compare each by over 100 dimensions, capacities, safety ratings and performance results...and than award the winners yourselves. Let me know what you think, msnide@theautochannel.com.
