Fleetwood Debuts 2008 American Heritage at National Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas

RIVERSIDE, Calif., Aug. 31, 2007 -- Fleetwood Enterprises' RV Group, a leading producer of recreational vehicles, today announced the debut of its restyled 2008 American Heritage diesel luxury coach. With all-new exterior and interior features, the 2008 American Heritage, the flagship of the American Coach luxury motor home line, was unveiled to dealer representatives at Fleetwood's National Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas, Nev. on August 27-29, 2007.

The debut of the 2008 American Heritage was highlighted by its newest floor plan selection -- an industry first triple-slide floor plan with 30" deep full-wall, galley and bedroom slide boxes (45B).

"During the development of the 2008 American Heritage we strove to blend all of the style, convenience and innovative elements our American Coach customers told us they wanted to see," said Paul Eskritt, President of Fleetwood's RV Group. "We used this feedback to develop the new full-wall slide floor plan (45B), which when combined with the bedroom and galley slides, creates almost 20 square feet of living space. This increased space and flush floor design gives our customers the extra flexibility they look for in their ideal luxury motor home."

Exterior highlights include Cummins ISM 500HP or Cummins ISX 600HP diesel engine options, impressive new graphics, curved front and rear caps with seamless hidden-fastener molding, new chrome American Coach logo and an innovative luggage door feature that puts common utility compartment functions in the door for improved performance.

Interior styling innovations have been made to further ease the driving experience and create a sophisticated residential feel. Features include a contemporary dash with lower-profile instrument panel, Navion(R) R5000 information and entertainment center (AM/FM/ CD/MP3/camera monitor with one-way audio) and brand-new decorative living room/galley ceiling package with accent lighting.
