What Would You Do for a Honda Ridgeline?
Fans Are Asked to Submit Videos Showing Their Passion For A Chance To Win A Vehicle On Anaheim Ducks Fan Appreciation Night
ANAHEIM, CA - October 3, 2007: Honda Center and the Anaheim Ducks announced today a new interactive promotion in which fans are asked to submit videos answering the question "What would you do for a Honda Ridgeline?"
Fans are asked to submit a passionate or comedic video lasting 30 seconds or less, which translates a compelling reason they should drive away in a new 2008 Honda Ridgeline on Anaheim Ducks Fan Appreciation Night scheduled for April 6, 2008 vs. the Phoenix Coyotes.
"We wanted to find a creative way to allow the tremendous passion of our fans to show through," said Rod Murray, director of entertainment/multimedia. "We're creating a fun in-arena element to add to the exciting action on the ice."
Each night, fans at Anaheim Ducks home games will have the opportunity to see two pre-selected videos and vote for their favorite. The winning video will instantly become a semi-finalist in the competition, where it will seen by a panel of celebrity judges that include Ducks players and management. The celebrity panel will then narrow the 38 semi-finalists down to their top five selections. On April 6, the five finalists will have their video shown on Honda Vision and each have a chance to win the new 2008 Honda Ridgeline.
Video entries for the "What would you do for a Honda Ridgeline?" giveaway can be shot in any video format, but must be no longer than 30 seconds in length. Fans may upload their videos via the Anaheim Ducks website or mail their entry to Honda Center. Each entry will be judged on the basis of good taste, originality, creativity, effort and support of Honda and the Anaheim Ducks. Fans wishing to enter videos or see full contest rules can do so at http://ducks.nhl.com/.
