Senior Management Changes at Nissan North America

Al Castignetti to become Vice President and General Manager, Nissan Division

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Dec. 14 -- Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA), today announced that Al Castignetti has been named Vice President and General Manager, Nissan Division replacing Bill Bosley, who is retiring. Castignetti, whose appointment is effective Jan. 1, 2008, had been Regional Vice President for Nissan Division's Northeast region.

Castignetti will be based at the company's headquarters in Nashville, Tenn. As Vice President and General Manager, he will be responsible for all Nissan Division activities in the United States including sales, fixed operations and administration. A successor to Castignetti in the Northeast Region will be announced soon.

"I would like to recognize Bill for his great contributions to Nissan during his 26 years with the company, and everyone wishes him all the best," said Mark McNabb, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for NNA. "I also would like to welcome Al to his new position. He has extensive sales and marketing experience, and I look forward to his leadership for the Nissan sales organization."

As RVP in the Northeast Region, Castignetti has been responsible for sales, service and parts distribution of Nissan products to more than 190 dealerships in all or parts of 10 Northeast states. He also served as Regional Vice President for the Infiniti Central region.

Before joining Nissan, Castignetti worked for Toyota Motor Sales and Toyota Motor Sales de Mexico. He was Assistant General Manager for the Western region of Lexus between 1998 and 2000.

Bosley joined Nissan in 1981 as a district services manager. He worked in the service, consumer affairs, sales and marketing organizations before being named Director of Parts and Service in 1993. He was Regional Vice President in Nissan and Infiniti regions before being named Vice President of Parts and Service in 2000.

For the two years immediately prior to his most-recent position, Bosley was Managing Director, Nissan Motors (GB) Ltd., where he was responsible for all of Nissan's sales operations in Great Britain.
