Porsche Reports March 2008 Sales in U.S.

ATLANTA April 1, 2008; Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars and Cayenne SUVs in the United States, today announced March new-car sales of 2,467 in the United States, representing a 25% decrease from a record March 2007 sales of 3,278.

Porsche's venerable Cayenne series continued to perform impressively. Bolstered by the recently-introduced sporty Cayenne GTS, sales for the popular SUV reached 1,169, an increase of 33% over March 2007 when sales were 877. Year-to-date Cayenne sales were up 11%.

In addition, dealers sold 678 Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned cars in March vs. 609 for the same period last year.
