TROY, Mich., May 27, 2008 -- TireStamp Corp. the leader in tire pressure monitoring and asset management solutions, today announced that Baltimore-based Cambridge Iron and Metal has selected TireStamp's TireVigil(TM) Pro system for monitoring the tires on its fleet of trucks. The TireVigil(TM) solution will be installed to support the demands of its fleet that hauls steel, brass, copper and other metals to steel mills and other manufacturing customers. "We searched for a system that would get control of our increasing tire expenses by monitoring tire pressure 24/7 no matter where our trucks are. TireVigil(TM) Pro confirmed everything that was advertised and reported tire problems so fast even our drivers and tire service provider were impressed," said Edward McCauley, Director of Maintenance for Cambridge Iron and Metal. McCauley continues, "We may take off for holidays but TireVigil(TM) keeps working and reporting the status of our tires. Cambridge is already reducing its weekly tire service costs thanks to TireVigil(TM)."

TireVigil(TM) Pro continuously analyzes tire pressure and temperature data to give fleets the ability to both monitor and react to developing tire problems such as slow leaks, under or over inflation conditions, mismatched duals, and overheating while at the same time providing them ongoing analysis of tire performance across the fleet. This visibility provides Cambridge Iron with the ability to perform proactive tire service to prevent time consuming, emergency enroute delays, and the information they need for better casing management and tire and retread purchasing decisions.
