OEConnection Chosen as a Leading EDGE Company

Company honored for contributions to the regional economy

RICHFIELD, Ohio, May 28 -- OEConnection LLC, a technology leader in parts exchange and analysis solutions for the automotive original equipment (OE) replacement parts business, has been selected by The Entrepreneur's EDGE as a Leading EDGE company for a second consecutive year. This award recognizes middle market companies for the value they create for northeast Ohio.

Of this latest honor, the company's President & CEO, Chuck Rotuno, said, "We are proud to be recognized for the contributions OEConnection has made to the region's economy. OEConnection built its new 50,000 square foot headquarters facility in Richfield in 2007 and has been consistently recognized as an employer of choice. The company was named as one of the best workplaces in Ohio in 2006 and 2007, and is a 4 time winner of the NorthCoast 99 award honoring the top workplaces in northeast Ohio.

To qualify for Leading EDGE recognition, companies must have annual revenues of less than $500 million and operate within the 17 counties in northeast Ohio. This award identifies and honors the positive contributions companies have made to the region's economy. By identifying as many middle market companies as possible and measuring and recognizing the value they create, The Entrepreneur's EDGE organization strives to grow the number of companies operating in northeast Ohio. 101 companies were recognized during its inaugural awards event in 2007.

Along with the other Leading EDGE award recipients, OEConnection was recognized at a ceremony held at Lorain County Community College in Elyria, Ohio on May 21st.
