Public Invited to Plug-In 2008 Public Night in San Jose

Event Provides Opportunity to See and Learn About Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles

SAN JOSE, CA - July 9, 2008: Interested in vehicles with the potential to get 100 miles per gallon? Like the idea of plugging in your car at home instead of filling up at the gas station? Eager to lower your ever-increasing fuel costs and your car's greenhouse gas emissions?

If so, then visit the Plug-In 2008 Conference & Exposition Public Night, taking place Tuesday, July 22 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, Hall 3 (150 W. San Carlos St., San Jose).

For a $10 fee (tickets must be purchased at the door), attendees can visit the exhibit hall to see plug-in hybrid vehicles and related technology, and hear speakers talk about the potential of plug-ins and electric vehicles, how close they really are to market, and what consumers can do to help accelerate the process.

  -- Panel discussion: 7:30 - 9 p.m.
