MSX International Acquires Carter and Carter's Automotive Training Solutions Operations in Japan

Acquisition Accelerates Asia-Pacific Expansion Plans

WARREN, Mich., Aug. 7 -- MSX International, Inc. (MSXI), a leading provider of outsourced business solutions and services to the global automotive marketplace, today announced that it has acquired the Japanese training operations of Carter and Carter Group PLC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

"This acquisition accelerates our expansion into the Japanese automotive market, and provides us with an immediate presence in this high-growth market," said Peter M. A small team of automotive experts based in Tokyo, Japan is now a part of MSXI's Integrated Business Solutions team. The group reports to Phil Ramsden, managing director of Asia-Pacific for MSXI, who is based in the company's Asia-Pacific headquarters in Melbourne, Australia.

MSXI provides a wide range of training services to automotive manufacturers and dealers globally. These include developing and conducting technical training programs, creating and publishing technical bulletins, diagnosis guides, and service alerts. The company also operates technical training centers for major OEMs and ensures that dealer training activities align with corporate and technical standards.
