Briefing Seminars
WHO: American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI)
WHAT / WHEN: AISI's Automotive Applications Committee Members will
discuss the future of automotive steel at the
Management Briefing Seminars in two ways:
1) Ron Krupitzer, vice president of automotive
applications for AISI, will be participating in a
seminar on world class manufacturing titled
"Manufacturing for Fuel Economy."
Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 8 a.m., Governor's Hall
2) Krupitzer and / or other representatives from AISI's
Automotive Applications Committee will be available
for interviews at select times on Monday, Aug. 11
through Friday, Aug. 15 to discuss the latest steel
industry news that is affecting the automotive
industry, regarding advances in fuel efficiency,
affordability, safety and environmental
responsibility.

BACKGROUND: AISI serves as the voice of the North American steel
industry in the public policy arena and advances the
case for steel in the marketplace as the preferred
