ITW Announces Conference Call Information for 2008 Third Quarter Earnings

GLENVIEW, Ill., Sept. 19, 2008 - Illinois Tool Works Inc. today announced that it will hold its 2008 third quarter conference call on Thursday, October 16, 2008. The conference call will begin at 1 p.m. central time and will follow the company's release of third quarter earnings at 7 a.m. central time on that same day.
