World's only Lamborghini Miura is for sale in Switzerland

GENEVA, Switzerland - Simon Kidston, formerly at Bonhams auction house set up his own company in 2006.

His latest gem, which is offered for sale is a truly stunning, one-off Lamborghini Miura.

At the height of its status as an international automotive diva, the Lamborghini Miura was dramatically re-engineered as an open top roadster by its original designer, Marcello Gandini at Bertone. Never intended for series production, and today remaining as a tantalizing “what if”, the Miura Roadster was shown at the 1968 Brussels Salon before returning to the factory where it languished until sold to the International Lead and Zinc Research Organization (ILZRO) who commissioned its conversion as a showpiece for their products. In this guise the renamed ‘Zn75’ toured the world and was featured in newspapers, magazines and TV shows before a lengthy retirement in museums and collections around the world.

Finally, this decade the Miura Roadster was entrusted to renowned specialist Gary Bobileff in California by a visionary American collector with the sole purpose of returning it to exact, show-stopping ’68 specification. Some $330.00 later (all invoices are available), the resulting restoration took 2nd in class against the best in the world at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and makes this unique concept car arguably the most sought after Lamborghini in existence.

There is only one original Miura Roadster and this is it.
