Volkswagen Group of America President and CEO To Speak on the Future of the Automotive Industry at UCLA Anderson School of Management

HERNDON, Va., March 5 -- Volkswagen Group of America announced today that President and CEO Stefan Jacoby will speak at UCLA Anderson School of Management. Mr. Jacoby will discuss the challenges facing the automotive industry and potential solutions in today's economic climate. He will also talk about Volkswagen's 2018 strategy in the U.S., the company's $1 billion investment in a new production facility in Chattanooga, Tenn. and its commitment to sustainable mobility.

The event is hosted by UCLA Anderson School of Management, the UCLA Chapter of Net Impact, the UCLA Sustainable Resource Center, UCLA Anderson Automotive Business Association, UCLA Sustainability and UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science.

It is open to UCLA students, faculty, industry, community members and the media. Following Mr. Jacoby's speech will be a Q&A session in which he will take questions from the audience. There will also be a press availability immediately after the event.
