Changan Auto Sees March Sales Surge 18%

Shanghai, April 7, 2009: (Gasgoo.com) Chongqing Changan Automobile Co, a partner of Ford Motor in China, said it sold 117,486 vehicles in March, up 17.81 percent from the same month last year,

The company produced 111,472 vehicles in March, up 6.69 percent from a year earlier.

In the first quarter, Changan sold 297,748 units, up 13.79 percent from a year earlier. Output in the first quarter totaled 268,829 units, up 4.17 percent year on year.
