Shanghai, April 21 (Gasgoo.com) Geely Auto has unveiled its luxury sedan
model Geely GE, which may seem like a Rolls Royce ripoff, but it has
one-upped the deluxe brand by featuring just one, throne-like seat,

Geely has created a full sized knock off Rolls Royce Phantom for the Chinese
market. The 17.5-foot long executive mover comes loaded for high-flyers,
complete with isolation glass and wool carpet just like a real Roller.

 

The Geely GE is expected to be the first major luxury offering from Geely's
elegant sub-brand YingLun, or ENGLON (standing for England London) if it
ever goes into production. Modeled after the Rolls Royce Phantom in a
peculiarly Chinese way, the Geely GE even has its own hood ornament.

 

If it is put into production, the Geely Ge is likely to be only for
high-ranking Chinese officials and will compete with the revamped Hongqi
(Red Flag) luxury model by China's auto giant FAW.

 

Geely Auto has brought 22 new car models of its three brands -- Eagle, Dihao
(Imperial) and Englon/Yinglun to the Shanghai auto show for a shining
show-off of the Zhejiang-based private Chinese carmaker¡¯s auto lineup.
