SORL Auto Parts Announces Date of 2009 Annual Meeting of Stockholders

ZHEJIANG, China, April 28, 2009: SORL Auto Parts, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of commercial vehicle air brake valves and related auto parts in China, announced today that its 2009 annual stockholder meeting will be held at 9:00 AM China Standard Time (UTC +8) on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 in the Ruihong Room at The Ruili Business Hotel in Ruian. Stockholders of record as of the close of business on Friday, April 17, 2009 are entitled to notice of and to vote at the 2009 Annual Meeting.

  Proposals to be voted on at the annual meeting are as follows:

  (1) To elect seven directors to hold office until the 2010 annual meeting
      of stockholders and until their successors are elected and qualified;

  (2) To approve an amendment to our Certificate of Incorporation to delete
      an anti-takeover provision;

  (3) To approve an Amended and Restated Certificate of Incorporation;

  (4) To ratify the appointment of our independent registered public
      accounting firm for fiscal year 2009; and

  (5) To transact any other matters that properly come before the meeting or
      any adjournments or postponements thereof.
