U.S. Government to "Jump Start" "New GM" and "New New" Chrysler With Government Fleet Orders For Green Cars

Washington DC June 1, 2009; President Barak Obama with grim face and serious demeanor laid out the U.S. governments role in the running of the new people owned GM. He said that GM could not go on the way it had been and and needed to change in order for our children and grandchildren s sake so we as a nation can once again say what's good for GM is good for America.

The President has picked up on a there that has been resonating from The Auto Channel for months and that is the purchase of new green vehicles for America's largest fleet belonging to the U.S. Government.

We here at The Auto Channel hoped that the administration will heed the rest of our suggestion and that is to hold Alt Fuel Shootouts to determining which options will remain viable in the future.
