CHICAGO, June 1 -- The U-Haul Company of North Shore Chicago today announced the promotion of Brandon Blaskowski to president. Blaskowski brings more than 10 years of U-Haul experience to his new position, where he will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, including truck, trailer and storage rentals.

"Brandon has more than 10 years of experience that he will be sharing with his team members and will prove to be a tremendous asset to this company," affirmed Area District Vice President (ADVP) Steve Hansen. "His can do attitude and leadership skills will provide a substantial increase in the service we provide to our customers."

Blaskowski began his U-Haul career in April 1999 as a customer service representative (CSR) for the Oshkosh U-Haul Center and was promoted to general manager (GM) in August 2000. Today, MCP Blaskowski will oversee U-Haul operations for the northern suburbs of Chicago.

"I am very excited to lead this company with my field knowledge and to work with my team to raise the service level that we provide our customers on a daily basis," Blaskowski stated.
