New Found Glory and Kadawatha join the line-up, which also includes pop-rock band Tegan and Sara

LOS ANGELES - April 15, 2010: The Honda Civic Tour (HCT) is giving excited fans, music lovers and everyone else under the summer sun a chance to win a Honda Civic Si Coupe customized and autographed by Paramore. This one-of-a-kind car will be on display at each stop of the nationwide Honda Civic Tour, which kicks off July 23 in Raleigh, NC. Beginning April 15, fans can enter to win this Honda ride of a lifetime by visiting www.HondaCivicTour.com. Attendees can also register to win at each stop of the tour.

Since the Honda Civic Tour's inception, the customized Honda Civic has been an integral part of the traveling rock extravaganza. In addition to headliner Paramore, the 2010 tour features pop-rockers Tegan and Sara, 2003 HCT alumni and pop-punk quintet New Found Glory, and Sri Lankan/Swedish group Kadawatha. The Honda Civic Tour will visit 31 U.S. cities; additionally, Tegan and Sara, originally unable to perform July 27 in Wallingford, CT, will now be part of that HCT date.

The members of Paramore collaborated on their personalized Honda Civic Si Coupe, and the result is the ultimate in fan memorabilia. The vibrant, matte orange, maroon, and slightly blonde exterior features waves reminiscent of lead singer Hayley Williams' flowing hair; this effect, which required a half-mile of masking tape, was executed by Santini USA with House of Kolor paint. The airbrushed Paramore logo, surrounded by butterfly wings, graces the hood and runs the length of the Civic. It's surrounded by lyrics from their most recent album, brand new eyes, and the band members' autographs.

The array of bumper stickers adorning the customized Civic simulate Hayley's own car, and include custom-sketched caricature designs by Josh Farro, Paramore's lead guitarist, to resemble the band's faces. The 18" Lace wheels by Konig Wheels, custom powder-coated matte black, were a preference of bassist Jeremy Davis, along with the Toyo Tires Proxes 4 tires for ultra-high performance and functionality. The Civic Si was lowered two inches all around by KW Suspension/ST Suspension because the band wanted high style and the best driving experience possible. Finishing off the look are a Honda Factory Performance sport muffler, lower front spoiler, larger side skirts and a lower rear spoiler and red LED taillights, courtesy of Anzo USA.

Interior details include a wrapped steering wheel, shifter and e-brake handles evoking Hayley's microphone stand, and a collection of buttons on the sun visor much like those in Hayley's own car. A Mothers detailing kit is included to keep the interior fresh and the exterior looking shiny and smooth.

"Customizing this Honda Civic was an amazing experience," said Hayley. "What we ended up with is very us, and it expands on some of the imagery from brand new eyes. Best of all, whoever's driving can always have that hair-blowing-in-the-breeze feeling!"

Thanks to Paramore, fans have a chance to win two rides during the 2010 Honda Civic Tour. In addition to the customized Honda Civic Si Coupe, the band designed a Masi Speciale Fixed LTD Drop Fixie bicycle, enabling the winner to keep riding even when the Civic is parked. In hues of gunmetal, black, yellow and orange, this bike is impeccably green - and about as cool as pedal power gets. Enter to win both at www.HondaCivicTour.com beginning April 15.

No purchase is necessary to enter at www.HondaCivicTour.com and entry is limited to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older.

About Paramore

Paramore's acclaimed third album, brand new eyes, features two Top 10 Modern Rock hits, "Ignorance" and "Brick By Boring Brick." The collection, which was recently certified gold, was among 2009's biggest popular and critical successes, debuting at #2 on the Billboard 200 and coming in as the "Album of the Year" in Alternative Press' "Readers Poll '09," as well as the #2 favorite on the magazine's own "Best Albums of 2009" tally. The New York Times' Jon Caramanica placed brand new eyes on his 2009 Top 10, praising it for "choruses (that) roll up like tidal waves." SPIN magazine counted brand new eyes among its "40 Best Albums of 2009," noting that Paramore have "entered the rarified world of rock that matters." Further honors keep piling up, including a second Grammy nomination as well as wins for "Favorite Rock Band" at the 2010 People's Choice Awards and "Best International Band" at the NME Awards. Paramore will perform on the April 29 episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

About Tegan and Sara

Over the course of six albums and tours that have encircled the globe countless times, Tegan and Sara have become one of the most critically praised and fan-beloved forces in modern pop/rock music. Their current album, Sainthood, as well as their previous two albums, The Con (2007) and So Jealous (2004), have attracted an ever-growing, highly dedicated base of fans who have taken their songs deeply to heart. The press has also responded with similar affection: "The main attraction has always been the emotional virtue of Tegan and Sara's songs," said SPIN magazine. Outburn Magazine enthused: "Indie pop/rock perfection." Alternative Press simply concurred: "Impressively skillful." By the time The White Stripes had covered and released their version of the T&S classic "Walking With A Ghost," in 2005, they had already toured with the likes of Neil Young, The Killers, The Pretenders, Ryan Adams, and Death Cab For Cutie. Late night television appearances on Letterman, Leno, Conan, Kimmel and Ferguson brought their songs to an even greater cultural awareness. Meanwhile Sainthood, just as each of its predecessors, was placed on several "Best of 2009" critics and readers polls as diverse as Alternative Press, AOL, SPIN, Rolling Stone, Blurt Magazine, New York Daily News, New York Newsday, Outburn, Stereogum and many others.
