SAINT PAUL, Minn., August 26, 2010: EurocarsUS' Tesla Roadster Sport will be in the solar carport at the Eco Experience from 9 am to 9 pm, August 26th through September 6th. EurocarsUS, which sells conventional gas-powered luxury imports and owns 1 of 5 Tesla Roadsters in MN, is pleased to provide fairgoers with an opportunity to learn about electric vehicles.
The Roadster Sport boasts super car performance without super car emissions. The hand-built, carbon fiber electric Roadster Sport accelerates from 0 - 60 mph in 3.7 seconds. The zero-emissions super car consumes no petroleum; plugs into conventional 120-volt sockets; and can drive 245 miles per charge. The Eco Experience, a partnership between the Minnesota State Fair, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and dozens of organizations and businesses across the state, has become the second most popular exhibit at the fair. The Eco Experience is the largest environmental event of its kind in the country. Since 2006, more than 1.5 million visitors have attended the 25,000 square-foot exhibit to learn more about clean air and water, saving energy, climate change, healthy local food, transportation, green building and remodeling, and other ways to lead more eco-friendly lives.
