SAN JOSE, CA - September 14, 2010: The International Institute for Ecological Agriculture (IIEA) announced today that its Executive Director and Founder David Blume is a featured speaker this month at the Agriculture and Biotechnlogy International Conference (ABIC) in Saskatoon Canada as well as at the SolFest Sustainable Living Conference in Ukiah, CA.

Blume is a globally renowned regenerative agriculture and BioFuels expert and is author of Alcohol Can Be A Gas! and will be presenting how we can:

  • End global deforestation and improve health and safety conditions for women and children around the world
  • Replace hazardous open wood-fueled in-door heating and cooking with clean sustainable and locally produced alcohol fuel
  • Cheaply produce appropriate scale alcohol fuel from waste, toxic/spoiled food, native and cultivated crops.
  • Generate high-profit, high-yield, coproducts from the alcohol fuel production process
  • Develop affordable rapid response systems for global environmental and climatic disasters

According to Blume, We all must become the champions of hope and leaders of economic revitalization and environmental healing for our communities, our nation and planet. Alcohol fuel gives us safe and affordable liquid solar energy that can power our energy needs including home heating and cooking as well as transportation."

The Agriculture Biotechnology International Conference runs Monday through Wednesday, 9/12 -15/10 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Blume's talk "Diverse Alcohol Fuel Feedstocks: High-Profit, High-Yield, Ecological Alternatives to Corn." begins at 2pm Wed, 9/15. For more information visit www.abic.ca/abic2010.
