Chevrolet at the Paris Motor Show

PARIS – Sept 28, 2010: The 2010 Paris Motor Show is Chevrolet’s biggest European show yet, with no less than four world premieres.

They include the Orlando seven-seat MPV, the new Captiva, the all-new Aveo and the Cruze 5-door show car – each one a clear indicator of where Chevrolet is going in 2011. We’ll also be announcing the start of our centenary celebrations, as 2011 marks 100 years of Chevrolet – a European brand that found huge success in the USA, and is now looking to once again grow in its homeland.

If you’d like access to these new vehicles ahead of the show, so you can get some crowd-free photography and talk openly to the designers and engineers behind the cars, we’ll be at the Paris Yacht Club (yes, it does sound posh, doesn’t it?) atYachts de Paris, Salon L’Escale Quai André Citroen from 10.00am until 5.00pm on Wednesday 29 September. Simply turn up if you want to come along…

On press day, the Chevrolet Press Conference, hosted by Chevrolet Europe’s characterful President, Wayne Brannon, will be late in the day – at 5.45pm. By that stage we anticipate journalists will have sore feet and be rather thirsty, which is why we’ll be following it up with a free bar and a little light entertainment. We’ll also have free wi-fi on the stand, and if you’re passing at lunchtime some good ol’ American fayre in the form of burgers, fries and hot dogs. And maybe a beer…

If you’re in Paris and want access to any Chevrolet execs during the two press days, or have a specific product interest I’ll be around – just call me on +44 7775 825334 at any point during the show. And if I do miss you, have a great show!
