COVENTRY, UNITED KINGDOM – October 22, 2010: Forget your Sunday best – a pair of steel toecap boots and mucky overalls is the expected dress code at the National Restoration Show this Sunday (24th October) at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry. And don’t worry about the Sunday roast either, because there’s plenty to see, do – and buy at the show.

‘Filthy but Fun’ is the motto as enthusiasts head to the show, looking for the elusive part to complete a much-loved restoration project. With clubs and specialists on hand to offer advice or the tool to get a tricky task completed, the National Restoration Show offers advice and encouragement to any restorer, whether they’re an experienced old-hand or a newbie starting out on their first project.

Many clubs will be showing how to carry out a job on their chosen car. From routine servicing to winter preparation through to door-hanging, almost any restoration task is being tackled and gives enthusiasts a chance to get up close to the job in hand.

But you’ll still need those overalls – if you’re looking to buy a project to keep you busy this winter, because there will be plenty for sale, from pre-war cars through to more modern machinery.

The National Restoration Show is open from 10am until 4pm. Tickets are available at £12 on the gate. Car parking is free. To book tickets, call 0871 620 7067 or visit the website at www.restoration-show.co.uk for further updates.
