Proprietary Calibrations Integrated Into GM OEM Program

Goodyear, AZ December 10, 2010; NaturalDrive has obtained model year 2011 certification from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its dedicated compressed natural gas (CNG) alternative fuel system for General Motors full-size vans. This certification meets California's most stringent SULEV emission standard for vehicles of this weight class and provides laboratory data showing 21% reduction in CO2 greenhouse gas emissions as compared to gasoline operation.

NaturalDrive's certification incorporates all Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans of 8600 to 9900 GVWR, including the 135" wheelbase cargo vans which are integrated with dedicated CNG fuel systems offered by GM to its fleet customers and carrying full warranty coverage as previously announced.

GM announced in May that it would be the only manufacturer to offer a one-source van CNG option, allowing its customers to focus on their business rather than on contracting the conversion of their vehicles.

"Our focus from the beginning has been to offer fleet customers a simple 'check the box' approach with our CNG Chevrolet Express and Savana vans," said Brian Small, general manager, GM Fleet and Commercial Operations. "Our robust production process is a key enabler and certainly separates us from any competitive offering."
