NOSOVICE, CZECH REPUBLIC – January 7, 2011: Hyundai Motor Company has reached an impressive new production milestone in Europe, with the 300,000th vehicle rolling off the assembly line at its manufacturing facility in Nošovice, Czech Republic, just two years after the facility opened, at the end of 2008.

Vehicle number 300,000 was an i30cw. The ultra-modern plant produces the i30, i30cw, and newly launched ix20 and exports to 50 countries across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

Testament to the high standards of production at the plant, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC) recently received a National Quality Award from the government of the Czech Republic. During a ceremony at Prague Castle, government ministers presented the prestigious ‘Start Plus’ award to HMMC president, Eok-Jo Kim. This accolade recognises companies with facilities in the Czech Republic that are less than three years old, for excellence in the fields of quality, customer satisfaction and productivity
