Tesla Motors Partners with The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay for Test Drive Weekend

HALF MOON BAY, CA--March 2, 2011: The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay and Tesla Motors are a planning something special for resort guests during the ten year anniversary weekend--a test drive of a Tesla Roadster. "After ten years of our oceanfront resort, our Club Level guests are in for a special experience," said Bernd Kuhlen, General Manager for the resort. "The Tesla Roadster is an amazing electric premium sportscar and very environmentally responsible. Our Ritz-Carlton guests are going to love driving it and exploring Half Moon Bay."

During the weekend of April 1-3, guests of The Ritz-Carlton Club Level in Half Moon Bay will have the opportunity to sign up and take a test drive in the Tesla Roadster. The legendary Pacific Coast Highway runs along the coastline near the hotel and is part of the resort's Signature Drive. One lucky winner will take a Test Drive on the The Ritz-Carlton Signature Drive which includes five distinct regions of Half Moon Bay--Historic Downtown, Pumpkin Region, Redwood Forest Region, Santa Cruz Mountains and the Coastal region south of the resort. Guests may pick up a Signature Drive brochure at the hotel or download the Sunday Drive Application for their smartphone, either can be their guide as they explore Half Moon Bay.
