Honda (UK) press office is delighted to welcome Kate Saxton to the team where she will take up the role of Government Affairs and Environment Manager.

SLOUGH, UNITED KINGDOM – May 4, 2011: Kate has been with Honda since 2003 when she joined as a PR Executive in Honda Motor Europe with a focus on EU Government relations. Her role evolved in 2006 to a more Corporate and Product PR focus where she launched the FCX Clarity hydrogen fuel cell car in Gotland, Sweden. In 2008 she made the move over into Honda (UK) and has spent the last three years out in the field as an Area Sales Manager for the Car Division.

In her new role Kate will be the first point of contact for all Honda’s environmental activities whilst also liaising with Government and other stake holders on current legislative issues affecting Honda.

'I’m really looking forward to joining the Honda (UK) PR team. After spending three years out in the field I’m pleased to be going back to my roots,” commented Kate Saxton. “Honda's innovative spirit means that it’s constantly finding ways to push the technological boundaries and this is never more the case than when it comes to improving its environmental impact. I’m looking forward to shouting about Honda's environmental innovations and initiatives to anyone who'll listen'

Kate’s appointment follows John Kingston’s move to Honda Motor Europe where he now heads up the Corporate Affairs division.
