TESLA WEEKEND June 17-19

HALF MOON BAY, CA--May 18, 2011: Given the overwhelming success of last month’s Tesla Test Drive Weekend at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, Tesla Motors and the oceanfront resort are planning another special weekend for resort guests.

“Our Club Level guests are in for a another special experience,” said Bernd Kuhlen, General Manager for the resort. “The Tesla Roadster is an amazing electric supercar that is very fast and environmentally responsible at the same time. Our Ritz-Carlton guests are going to enjoy driving it and exploring Half Moon Bay.”

During the weekend of June 17-19, guests of The Ritz-Carlton Club Level in Half Moon Bay will have the opportunity to sign up and take a test drive in the Tesla Roadster. The legendary Pacific Coast Highway runs along the coastline near the hotel and is part of the resort’s Signature Drive. Guests will be able to reserve times to take a Test Drive along part of The Ritz-Carlton Signature Drive, which includes five distinct regions of Half Moon Bay -- Historic Downtown, Pumpkin Region, Redwood Forest Region, Santa Cruz Mountains and the Coastal region south of the resort.

Guests may pick up a Signature Drive brochure at the hotel, or download the Sunday Drive Application or their smartphones. Either can be their guide as they explore Half Moon Bay.
