Nissan submitted its LEAF mobile application, produced and developed by Airbiquity, for this prestigious award.

The free application enables remote interaction with the all-electric Nissan LEAF. This category-winning app is designed to help Nissan LEAF owners manage their vehicle as well as control the car’s most popular features directly from the iPhone. This application is compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

The application permits Nissan LEAF owners to do the following tasks:

  • Check state of battery charge
  • Start charging
  • Check when battery charge will complete
  • See estimated driving range
  • Turn on or off the climate control system
