ZETLAND, AUSTRALIA – June 24, 2011: Audi Australia’s new $210 million 5-year nationwide investment dealer network programme continues to see industry standard-setting facilities opened throughout the country.

The new Audi Centre Gold Coast, an $11 million investment on High Street Southport, is the latest in the Audi Terminal network programme to open its doors. The new car and service facility brings the very highest standards of Audi representation and customer care to a very important premium motoring market.

With an internal new car showroom for 21 cars and 23 high-tech service bays in a state-of-the-art workshop, the new facility delivers the best possible environment for viewing and experiencing the expanding Audi range and delivers a level of customer support that will further enhance the ownership experience.

Audi Centre Gold Coast is a new highlight in the long partnership between the local dealer and Audi that has seen the brand represented by the same group since 1997. Audi Centre Gold Coast Dealer Principals, father and son, James and Brett Frizelle are understandably proud of their new facility and the market growth it both represents and promises in the future.

“We have been with Audi for a long time and have enjoyed building a sound foundation for the brand on the Gold Coast. This new facility will allow us to move to the next level and offer an unmatched customer experience at every level and to do so for an ever growing group of owners,” James Frizelle said.

“The Gold Coast market is very competitive, it values loyalty and local commitment. Our long standing involvement in the community is reinforced by our new Audi Terminal and the confidence in the future of Audi that it represents,” James added.

Attending the official opening, Audi Australia Managing Director, Uwe Hagen, said: “The new Terminal for Audi Centre Gold Coast is a fitting result of the excellent work that James and Brett Frizelle and their team of 32 have put in to the task of building Audi’s reputation on the Gold Coast. I am confident that through their continued efforts an increasing customer base will reap the rewards of this investment.”

“For Audi Australia, this facility is yet another testament to the growing strength of our brand in this country. It also supports the national results that show us still growing strongly, despite a challenging market. I wish the Audi Centre Gold Coast team every success and know they will deliver an outstanding ownership experience for their customers,” Mr Hagen said.
