MELBOURNE – June 27, 2011: According to research conducted by Roy Morgan, more than 85 per cent of Australians aged 18 to 29 say that after reliability, the most important feature of a car is its style and appearance, making the 2011 Honda Jazz a fantastic choice for young drivers.

Now available from just $16,990 drive-away for a GLi manual (flat paint only) or just $54 per week, the new Jazz has plenty of sporty flash in its headlights, grille and aerodynamic design.

The Honda Jazz ticks all the boxes for young drivers, using just 5.8 litres of fuel per hundred kilometres, with 70 per cent of the respondents considering fuel efficiency more important than high performance.

In this age of technology, more than 70 per cent of 18 to 29-year-olds want all the extras as standard and the Jazz offers just that, with USB connectivity and Bluetooth across the range.

Offering a number of safety features including a five-star ANCAP safety rating, electronic stability control system, six airbags and a Multi-information Display, the Jazz will ease the minds of 60 per cent of young drivers who said safety was their number one concern when choosing a vehicle.

Jazz’s Magic Seats, which fold in 18 different ways, provide seating flexibility and an abundance of space, something 50 per cent of young drivers said was important.

Honda Australia’s General Manager Sales and Marketing, Mr. Stephen Collins, said, “With its sporty styling and fun personality, the new Honda Jazz is the perfect car for young Australians.

“Most importantly, the Jazz offers safety, fuel efficiency and space, something we know from our research that young drivers want,” said Mr. Collins.
