Porsche Reports Sales Increase of 2 Percent to 2,768 Cars

ATLANTA--Aug. 2, 2011: Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars, Cayenne SUVs and the Panamera four-door sports sedan line-up in the United States, today announced July 2011 sales of 2,768 units, an increase of 2 percent compared to the same period last year, when it sold 2,703 units.

So far in 2011, the company has sold 18,310 units. In the same seven-month period last year, Porsche sales were 13,687, which represents a 34 percent increase.

For the month of July 2011, Porsche's Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales were 779, compared to 573 last year. The year-to-date total was 5,137, compared to 4,369 last year.
