Green Automotive Plans Evaluation of Additional Vehicles

NEWPORT BEACH, CA--September 28, 2011: Green Automotive Company Corporation (OTC: GACR) announced today that it is planning to begin testing an all-electric mini-van, also referred to as a multi-purpose vehicle or "MPV," to add to its Eco-friendly, Zero Carbon Emission vehicle product line.

“While we analyze the recent test results from the Sport Utility Vehicle”

"While we analyze the recent test results from the Sport Utility Vehicle," said Fred Luke, President of Green Automotive, "we will soon begin the evaluation process on what we plan to be the second all-electric vehicle in the Company's product line, the all-electric MPV. We've been comparing the test results and other factors of the SUV to the MPV all-along, and we believe it's now time to include the MPV in our evaluation and testing schedule. The more we learn from our market research and testing, the more we are convinced that the MPV will have greater market appeal as it has greater size and has a broader range of user applications, which could quickly become the sales volume leader for the Company in both the retail and fleet buyer segments."

"Part of the purpose of our trip to China last April," said Company Director Ben Rainwater, Director, "was to visit with various vehicle manufacturers to preview their all-electric vehicle model line-up to determine which of their existing electric vehicles had the best U.S. market potential. We also were able to look at additional vehicles in their gas powered vehicle line-ups to determine which of those vehicles might be suitable candidates for conversion into an all-electric or Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicle model for inclusion in our product line."

According to Mr. Luke, the Company intends to continue to analyze the tests results on the SUV and, at the same time, map-out a timeline and budget to start the evaluation and testing process for the MPV to ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards regulations, beginning with a "hands-on" physical assessment of the MPV against the list of FMVSS Crash Avoidance Standards and Crash Worthiness Standards.

Earlier this month the Company announced its plans to open a Vehicle Assessment Center in Shanghai, and indicated that the Phase - 1 Vehicle Assessment work on the MPV will likely be conducted there in conjunction with its current select group of engineers provided by strategic engineering and technology providers.
